- Prepare 2 sticks Cinnamon
- Prepare 4-5 Cloves
- Take 8-10 Black pepper corns
- Prepare 2-3 Tbsp Water
- Get 1/2 kg Beef boneless meat
- Get 1 litre Water
- Get 🌻Lentils mixture:
- Get 1/2 cup Wheat soaked overnight
- Prepare 1/2 cup Barley soaked overnight
- Make ready 1/2 cup Split bengal gram soaked overnight
- Make ready 1/4 cup Split orange lentil soaked overnight
- Get 1/4 cup White lentil soaked overnight
- Get 1/4 cup Split yellow lentil soaked overnight
- Get 2 litre Water
- Make ready 2 large Bay leaves
- Prepare 2 tsp Turmeric powder
- Prepare 1 Tbsp Salt or to taste
- Make ready 1 litre Water or as required
- Take 1/2 tsp Mace powder
- Prepare 1/2 tsp Nutmeg powder
- Make ready 1 tsp Cumin powder
- Get Ginger julienne
- Make ready 1-2 Green chilies chopped
- Take Mint leaves handful
- Take 🌻For Tempering:
- Get Oil
- Get 1/4 Cup Onion slices large
Steps to make BEEFHALEEM / DALEEM::
- 🌻For Beef stock - In pot,add bones,water and mix,bring it to boil,cover & cook on low flame for 40-45 minutes. - Strain stock,discard bones & set aside.
- 🌻For Qorma: - In pot,add oil,oinion and fry until brown. - Add ginger garlic paste and mix well,add red chili powder,turmeric powder,salt,bay leaves,cinnamon stick,cloves,black pepper corns and mix well. - Add water and mix,add beef boneless meat and mix well for 2-3 minutes. - Add water,mix well and bring it to boil,cover and cook until meat is tender(approx. 1 hour). - Remove bay leaves and mash/shred meat and set aside.
- 🌻For Lentils mixture: - In pot,add wheat,barley,split bengal gram,split orange lentil,white lentil,split yellow lentil,water,bay leaves,turmeric powder,salt and mix well,bring it to boil,cover and cook on low flame until lentils are tender (approx. 1 hour). - Remove bay leaves and blend the whole mixture with hand blender.
- Add prepared beef stock and mix well. - Add shredded meat and mix well. - Add water and mix well. - Add mace powder,nutmeg powder,cumin powder and mix well if you noticed Haleem is too thick so you can add more boiled water and cook for 1 hour in low flame.
- 🌻For Tempering: - In frying pan,add oil and onion,fry until golden brown. - Add fried onion in daleem sprinkle some coriander and serve with fried onion, ginger,green chilli, cilantro, chaat masala lemon and crusty bread or naan. - Enjoy !!!
