- 4 cups cooked cannellini beans
- 1 slice bacon, diced

- Add bacon to pan over medium heat. Once fat renders, add onion and celery and cook until vegetables are soft. Transfer to baking dish.
- Add sliced hot dogs to pan and brown. (I used Hebrew National beef hot dogs) Transfer to baking dish.
- Add beans (I used Bush's canned beans, drained and rinsed) and remaining ingredients to baking dish with hot dogs and vegetables. Add about 1 cup water. Mix well.
- Bake uncovered at 300° about an hour. This long low cooking time allows the flavors to blend and sauce to thicken.
