Hey everyone, I hope you are having an amazing day. Today, we’re going to make a special dish, my chili. It is one of my favorites food recipes. For mine, I’m gonna make it a little bit unique. This is gonna smell and look delicious.

My Chili is one of the most popular of current trending meals in the world. It’s enjoyed by millions every day. It is easy, it’s fast, it tastes yummy. They’re fine and they look wonderful. My Chili is something which I have loved my entire life.

To get started with this recipe, we must prepare a few ingredients. You can have my chili using 18 ingredients and 2 steps. Here is how you cook it.

The ingredients needed to make My Chili:
  1. 1 lb ground beef
  2. 1 lb ground johnsonville hot italian sausage
  3. 1/2 lb smoked bacon (cut into small pieces)
  4. 8 oz dark beer (I use Guinness or Guinness Stout)
  5. 1 28oz can of crushed tomatoes
  6. 1 28oz can of diced tomatoes
  7. 1 15oz can of kidney beans (drained and rinsed)
  8. 1 15oz can of black beans (drained and rinsed)
  9. 2 large white onions (finely chopped)
  10. 5 clove of garlic (finely chopped)
  11. 1 red pepper (roasted, peeled, and chopped)
  12. 1 yellow pepper (roasted, peeled, and chopped)
  13. 3 tbsp of chili powder
  14. 1 tbsp of chipolte chili powder
  15. 1 tbsp fo ground cumin
  16. 1 tbsp of smoked paprika
  17. 2 tsp of dried oregano
  18. 1 salt and pepper to taste
Instructions to make My Chili:
  1. In large heavy pot, cook the bacon over medium heat until lightly crisp. While bacon is cooking, roast peppers in broiler until blackened. Remove and allow to cool. Once the bacon is browned, add the garlic, onions, bell peppers, chili powder, cumin, chipotle chili powder, oregano, and smoked paprika and season with salt and pepper, to taste. Cook until the vegetables are tender. Add the beef and break it up with a wooden spoon. Once beef is broken up and beginning to brown, add the pork. Break up with wooden spoon like the beef, and brown, roughly 5 minutes. Stir in the beer and beans and gently mix together, then add the crushed and diced tomatoes (do not drain juice.) Turn the heat down to low and simmer for 2 1/2 hours, stirring occasionally. Add salt and pepper if necessary.
  2. Optional – Garnish with shredded cheddar cheese, crackers, fresh scallions, or a dollop of sour cream – your choice
