  1. 3 slice chopped bacon
  2. 1 large chopped onion

  2. saute onion in bacon drippings till soft, add garlic and jalapeno saute for 2 minutes
  3. add ground beef cook till no longer pink
  4. add spices, tomatoes, beans, the reserved bacon, salt and pepper
  5. simmer for 2 to 3 hours
  6. sometimes I use different beans or meat, or chipolte for a little more heat. cook to your tastes add in things you like take out what you don't. enjoy!
