The ingredients needed to make Creme Brulee:
  1. 1 cup whipping cream
  2. 1/2 cup whole milk
  3. 1/2 tablespoon vanilla extract
  4. 3 ounces chocolate
  5. 4 egg yolks
  6. 1/2 of caster sugar
Instructions to make Creme Brulee:
  1. Combine cream, milk, chocolate and sugar in saucepan (medium heat-low). Heat until bubbles appear at edges and steam appears, but not boiling.
  2. Meanwhile, whisk egg yolks, and vanilla extract.
  3. Slowly add hot cream mixture while whisking constantly.
  4. Pour mixture back into saucepan and return to medium-low heat. Cook, sitrring constantly with spatula to scrap bottom until mixture is thickened (3-5 minutes). Once thickened, cook for an additional minute, while continuing to stir.
  5. Remove from heat, let cool a bit and then put into egg.
  6. Let chill over night and serve when ready.
  7. Granulated sugar on top and melt with blowtorch for upper crust
