The ingredients needed to make Swiss roll:
  1. 3/4 cup maida/ All-purpose Flour
  2. 1/4 cup oil
  3. 1/2 cup water
  4. 2 tablespoon cocoa powder
  5. 1/2 tsp baking soda
  6. 1/2 tsp baking powder
  7. 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  8. as needed Whipped cream
  9. 1/2 tbsp lemon juice
Steps to make Swiss roll:
  1. Mix all the wet ingredients together along with cocoa powder and sugar and mix it thoroughly
  2. Sieve maida along with baking powder and baking soda and add to the wet mixture. Incorporate the dry ingredients in wet ones using cut and fold method. Add lemon juice to it and mix it well.
  3. On a baking tray lay aluminum foil or a parchment paper. If you are using aluminum foil Grease the foil thoroughly. Pour the cake batter in the cake tray
  4. Preheat the oven on 180 degrees celcium for ten minutes and them bake the cake cor about 25 minutes.
  5. While the cake it yet hot roll the aluminum paper to make a roll like shape and let it cool down like that. One the cake has cooled down.. open it. Spread whipped cream and then again roll it and let it set. And your swiss roll is ready.cut it into pieces to serve
