The ingredients needed to make Swiss roll:
  1. 1/4 cup flour
  2. 1/4 cup corn flour
  3. 4 large eggs
  4. 1 tsp vanilla
  5. 80 g sugar
  6. 40 ml milk
  7. 40 ml oil
  8. 1 tsp lemon juice/vinegar
  9. Jam for filling
Instructions to make Swiss roll:
  1. Separate yolks and whited
  2. Beat the whites together with lemon juice till it forms peaks. Add 60g of the sugar as you beat
  3. Mix all other ingredients finishing with the flour, adding it gradually
  4. Mix abit of the white to the yellow to lighten abit then add the rest and fold in gently
  5. Pour in an already oiled and lined tray and bake btwn 8-15min.
  6. When ready…sprinkle icing sugar and turn on a clean kitchen cloth. Sprinkle the other side too
  7. Roll up with the kitchen cloth and put it in a rack to cool completely.
  8. Unfold carefully and apply your filling then fold it tightly again.
