Hollandaise is one of the most favored of current trending foods on earth. It’s easy, it’s fast, it tastes delicious. It’s appreciated by millions every day. Hollandaise is something that I’ve loved my whole life. They’re nice and they look fantastic.

To get started with this recipe, we have to prepare a few ingredients. You can have hollandaise using 7 ingredients and 6 steps. Here is how you cook it.

The ingredients needed to make Hollandaise:
  1. 250 grams butter
  2. 4 egg yolks (free range)
  3. 1 tsp white wine vinegar
  4. Sprinkling of cayenne pepper
  5. 1 tbsp cold water
  6. to taste Salt
  7. Squeeze lemon
Instructions to make Hollandaise:
  1. In a glass or metal bowl add the egg yolks, water, vinegar and salt and whisk until fluffy for a minute or two!
  2. Next heat a pan with water, this is to place the metal bowl on top it must not touch the water.
  3. In another pan melt the butter so it’s liquid. Keep it warm.
  4. Place the metal bowl over the simmering water. And whisk the egg yolks until they start to thicken, if it goes a little lumpy quickly take off the heat and add a tablespoon of cold water, quickly whisk away the lumps.
  5. Take off from the heat and slowly add the melted butter whisking all the time! Do not pour in the whites leave them at the bottom of the pan.
  6. Squeeze in some lemon, taste and it’s done !
