Hey everyone, Welcome to our recipe page. Today, I’m gonna show you how to make a distinctive dish, eggnog. It is one of my favorites. This time, I will make it a little bit unique. This will be really delicious.

Eggnog is one of the most popular of recent trending foods in the world. It is enjoyed by millions every day. It is easy, it is quick, it tastes yummy. They are fine and they look fantastic. Eggnog is something that I have loved my whole life.

To begin with this particular recipe, we have to first prepare a few components. You can have eggnog using 9 ingredients and 5 steps. Here is how you can achieve it.

The ingredients needed to make Eggnog:
  1. 1 cup Milk
  2. 1/2 cup Cream
  3. 2-3 tablespoons Caster Sugar
  4. 1/4 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  5. 2 Egg Yolks
  6. 1 tablespoons Caster Sugar
  7. 4 tablespoons Brandy and/or Rum *OR liquor of your choice
  8. 2 Egg Whites
  9. Grated Nutmeg *optional
Steps to make Eggnog:
  1. Combine Milk, Cream, Sugar and Vanilla in a saucepan, and heat over a medium heat. When it started boiling, remove from heat.
  2. Place Egg Yolks and 1 tablespoon Sugar in a a bowl, use a whisk to beat until sugar is well dissolved. Then slowly whisk in the milk mixture until smooth. *Note: The temperature of the milk mixture should be over 70C which cooks egg yolk.
  3. Add Brandy and/or Rum, and mix. Cool in the fridge.
  4. Beat Egg Whites in a bowl until soft peaks form. Gently fold into chilled eggnog and combine well. *Alternatively, you blend the Egg Whites and eggnog in a blender.
  5. Serve with grated Nutmeg if you like, but I like it without Nutmeg.
