- In order to make the cream, heat the mil over low heat, together with the flour, the corn flour, the cinnamon, sugar and salt and stir constantly until it thickens.
- When the cream thickens, remove from heat, add the margarine, vanillins and the eggs and just stir well.
- Oil your baking tray and spread the 3 sheets, sprinkling each one with oil.
- On the third sheet add the crumbled bread, the cinnamon, sugar and the ground walnuts.
- Add another sheet, then the cream, over the cream the next two sheets (sprinkling with oil) and then crumbled bread, cinnamon, sugar, ground nuts, finishing with the remaining 2 sheets (sprlinkled with oil).
- If you like you can score the top of the pie and sprinkle with a bit of water. You can also sprinkle with sesame seeds.
- Bake at 180°C for about an hour. When the filo is golden brown, the pie is ready.
