- 1 tsp Fresh Fennel Seeds
- 1/8 Cup Granulated Sugar
- as needed Beef Broth [to thin mixture only if needed]

- Linguini Noodles [boil as per manufacturers directions]

- 1 Loaf French Bread [1"+ thick slice]
