  1. 4 c Powdered Sugar (2 lb bag)
  2. 1 c Butter
  3. 3 tsp Vanilla
  4. 2 Tbsp Merengue Powder
  5. 2 Tbsp Milk
Steps to make Frosting:  Butter Cream:
  1. Mix butter, vanilla, milk, and merengue powder.
  2. Slowly, mix in powdered sugar.
  3. Notes: I find that the best consistency to work with is when you pile the frosting up and stick a butter knife in it. It should take between 6-10 seconds for the knife to drop over.
  4. For chocolate buttercream add 2/3 c unsweetened cocoa powder. Can also use 1 c melted chocolate chips (melted and cooled).
