  1. In a bowl add Wheat flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, little salt and sieve to another bowl. Add castor sugar. Set aside.
  2. In another bowl add water, oil, vinegar, instant coffee powder, vanilla essence and mix well.
  3. In the meantime in a deep vent karai add salt and a plate 1” above the salt, cover to Pre heat for 5-7 mins on high flame.
  4. Mix the dry ingredients to wet ingredients and mix well hot don’t overdo.
  5. Grease the cake pan with oil or butter and pour the batter.
  6. Put in the Pre heat karai and cover on high flame for 10 mins and low flame for 20-25 mins depending on the thickness of the cake tin.
  7. After 30 mins check with a toothpick to see whether it comes clean in which case your cake is done.
  8. Set aside and cool for 5 mins. Brush with little milk to keep the cake soft and let it cool in room temperature.
  9. With a knife loosen the edges of the cake tin and then pour into a rack to cool. Keep it covered with a muslin cloth for 1 hour at least.
  10. In a bowl heat cream and add it to dark chocolates to prepare the ganache. Divide into two parts. To one part add a little more cream and stir very well until smooth. The other part refrigerate for 30 mins.
  11. Pour the liquid ganache on the cake and with a spatula cover all sides. The other part should be whisked until smooth and put in a piping bag to make the designs on the cake.
  12. Decorate the cake and enjoy.
